Bradley Cooper’s Verdant Venice Bungalow Surfaces

Set behind tall hedges and wrapped in ivy, the A-lister’s former home is a plant lover’s paradise.

This ivy-covered hideaway was Bradley Cooper’s first house in Venice, tucked away behind mature landscaping to offer complete seclusion and privacy. After a renovation by interior designer Santillane de Chanaleille, the home now boasts a natural and raw aesthetic that features reclaimed wood ceilings, concrete floors, and impeccable attention to detail throughout. Upon entering, you’re immediately greeted by the great room, complete with a dining area, kitchen, and living area with fireplace. French doors blend the living areas with the beautifully manicured gardens, providing a seamless transition from indoor to outdoor living. The home features two bedrooms and two bathrooms, including a luxurious primary bedroom suite with elegant louver door closets, and a spa-like bathroom with intricate terra-cotta tile, black metal–framed shower, and a claw-foot bathtub. The outdoors are an entertainer’s dream, with a built-in barbecue, firepit, water feature, and hot tub.”

Tucked away behind soaring trees and thick ivy, the historic 1920s home can hardly be spotted.

Inside, crisp white walls pop against the wooden ceilings and floors. A large central island with a breakfast bar separates the kitchen from the living area.

In the primary suite, a wall of bifold glass doors open up to the manicured backyard garden.

The second bedroom offers direct outdoor access, charming picture windows, and a spacious reading area.

“Whether you’re hosting a dinner party or just relaxing with family and friends, this space is perfect for enjoying the Southern California lifestyle,” notes the agent.
